St. John Bosco Parish A. Arnaiz Avenue and Amorsolo Street, Barangay San Lorenzo, Makati City, Philippines (632) 894-5932 to 34 |
The Parish of St. John Bosco welcomes its new parish priest, Fr. Romeo Agustin Ma. Miciano, SDB (or Fr. Ting). Fr. Ting has been with the parish as Assistant Vicar and Director of the Don Bosco Pugad and the Youth Center. Prior to this he was Principal of the Don Bosco Technical School in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Fr. Ting was born on Aug. 15, 1961 in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. While still a young boy, he has been regarded as a multi-faceted individual excelling in academics, sports and music. His musicality was evidenced by his chanting of prayers during his Masses with a distinct timbre and character. After his ordination in Dec. 8, 1990, he was assigned to Canlubang as spiritual moderator of the seminarians. After two years, he was moved to Papua New Guinea where he stayed for 13 years, interrupted only by his masteral studies in education which equipped him to take on the Principal post in the Salesian high school at PNG and later becoming the founder and first Dean of the teachers' college of the school. The installation of our new Parish Priest, Fr. Ting Miciano, SDB was held during the 5:30PM Mass last May 24, 2009, Sunday. His Excellency, Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales presided the Mass together with priests from the Salesian community and the Vicariate of Sts. Peter and Paul. (Click here) to view pictures |
